Botox® Cosmetic

Injection of the wrinkle relaxer Botox® Cosmetic made by Allergan is the most commonly performed, non-surgical, aesthetic procedure done today. It is simple, safe, effective and is always administered by a physician at our Med-Spa. A few relatively painless, quick, tiny injections are done in precisely targeted areas after you have been screened as a good candidate. Great News! Botox® Cosmetic has been approved for crow’s feet and forehead lines.

Dr. Mozdy’s Signature "Liquid-and-Laser Lift"

Dr. Mozdy has developed her own “Liquid-and-Laser Lift” which is a nonsurgical procedure that artfully combines fillers, Botox® Cosmetic & lasers. She works closely with each patient, asking key questions to clearly define expectations and explains treatment options. The "Liquid-and-Laser Lift" restores facial volume, reduces wrinkles and recaptures a youthful and vibrant appearance. All without the costs, risks, and recovery time involved in an invasive surgical facelift.

Dr. Mozdy is one of the first physicians in the region to be trained in a new injection technique using a blunt-tipped microcannula instead of a sharp needle for dermal filler injections. They result in less discomfort, less bruising, increased safety, & smoother results.

Dr. Mozdy is one of the most experienced injectors in the region. Because of her high volume use of Botox® Cosmetic, Juvederm®, & Radiesse®, she has attained Platinum Provider status for Allergan (very difficult for a single practitioner) & a Merz Aesthetics Elite Provider.

She is also a Certified Medical Educator for Allergan. Under this leadership opportunity, Dr. Mozdy is responsible for educating and teaching hands-on injection techniques to other physicians for Botox® Cosmetic and Juvederm®. She was chosen nationally because of her expertise and exceptional outcomes.

Juvederm Voluma® XC

Juvederm Voluma® XC is the first and only FDA-approved filler to instantly add volume to the midface. Volume loss in the cheeks is a major reason we lose that youthful curved cheek and see hollowing, sagging, and nasal folds as we age. Unique to this formulation is the instant LIFT it provides and the longer duration- up to 2 years with optimal correction. Dr. Mozdy was one of the first doctors in the country to use this revolutionary filler.

Juvederm® Ultra XC

Juvederm® Ultra XC is a hyaluronic acid filler that provides a smooth, long-lasting correction of facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm® Ultra XC is the first smooth-consistency gel formulation and is approved by the FDA to last up to one year. We only use the XC formulation that comes premixed with the local anesthetic lidocaine for a much more comfortable experience.

Juvéderm Vollure™ XC

Juvederm Vollure™ XC is the newest dermal filler in the Juvederm® line and has quickly become one of Dr. Mozdy’s favorite go-to fillers. It is a very smooth, versatile gel, lasts longer and is very natural because it moves with facial expression.

Juvederm Volbella® XC

The first FDA approved filler for use in the lips and vertical lip lines. Juvederm Volbella® XC adds natural looking volume to the lips while smoothing the appearance of lip lines. Dr. Mozdy also likes to use it to fill in very fine lines and wrinkles in the face.

Lip Fillers

Dr. Mozdy also specializes in lip enhancement and rejuvenation. Fillers can augment the size of your natural lips or they can turn back the clock by restoring your natural fullness, lip border and can erase lip lines!

Gone are the “fish lips” techniques of the past. Dr. Mozdy is able to revive your lips in a very smooth, natural-looking way. This is another area where she uses the new microcannula technique for less pain and bruising.

Eye Rejuvenation

The sparkle you feel on the inside should be able to shine through to the “windows of your soul.” Your eyes have the thinnest skin on the body, and therefore are the first area to give away your age.

We provide several options for eye rejuvenation. We use Botox® Cosmetic to soften frown lines, relax crow’s feet, raise brows, and open up the eyes. Fillers can be used to plump and support sunken eyes, tear troughs, temples, and reshape the brow line. But be careful in choosing your physician... only very experienced doctors should be doing these advanced filler techniques. Latisse® is a prescription medicine that regrows thinning lashes and eyebrows.

Hand Rejuvenation

Your hard-working hands have served you well, but don’t neglect them. Our hands can give away our age, even if we have addressed other areas. As we mature, the skin on the back of our hands becomes thinner, flecked with brown spots, and our veins and joints protrude.

Dr. Mozdy has a range of protocols that help turn back the "hands of time". Laser treatments are often a very good choice to gently remove age spots and reveal fresher, smoother-looking hands. Dermal fillers are also used to replace lost volume and to plump the skin to reduce bony appearance and vein prominence.
