Dr. Lauren Mozdy, M.D., L.Ac.

As a Medical Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist, Dr. Mozdy has a passion for medicine and an interest in medical diversity. Her broad-based experiences, extensive training and education in a variety of medical disciplines include Aesthetic Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Integrative Medicine, & Laser Surgery.

Dr Mozdy is board certified from the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She received her Medical Doctorate from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Gannon University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Virginia where she served as Chief Resident and then became an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia. She later studied Chinese medicine at the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco.

In 2005, Dr. Mozdy opened the Integrative Med-Spa where she is presently the Medical Director and Sole Proprietor. Because of her expertise and exceptional outcomes, she was chosen nationally as a Certified Medical Educator for Allergan. She is responsible for educating and teaching hands-on injection techniques to other physicians for Botox and the Juvederm collection of Fillers.

Another of Dr. Mozdy’s accomplishments includes receiving the Athena Powerlink Award for 2013. Erie’s Athena Program identifies and recognizes outstanding women in business who provide valuable services for others in our community. Through the use of Advisory Panels, composed of dedicated local professionals who generously donate their time and knowledge, Athena helps female-owned businesses expand their reach and profitability. Her professional affiliations include: American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Acupuncture Council, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, International Med Spa Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Jess has been with the practice 14 years and has been a great asset to us. She specializes in skin care, medical aesthetician procedures and patients with medical issues such as Cancer. She is very devoted to her patients and is a great educator for them.

Sara - Office Manager

Sara has been with us for over 7 years at the front desk. With her attention to detail and bubbly personality, she does a great job running the office. She handles all the details of our busy aesthetic practice and excels at making everyone feel welcome.

Haley - Cosmetologist

We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our staff. Hayley is a cosmetologist and comes from the Pittsburgh area. She both assists Dr. Mozdy and works at the front desk. She always has a smiling face and never has a bad hair day!
