Dr Lauren Mozdy, M.D., L.Ac.

Dr. Mozdy as an MD Physician and a Licensed Acupuncturist, has a strong passion for medicine and an interest in medical diversity. Her broad based experiences, extensive training and education in a variety of medical disciplines include: Anti-Aging Medicine, Aesthetic Dermatology, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Laser Surgery, General, OB, & Cardiovascular Anesthesiology, & Pain Management.

She is Board Certified from the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She received her Medical Doctorate from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Born in Erie, PA she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Gannon University in Erie with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Mozdy completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Virginia where she served as Chief Resident and as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia. She studied Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco, CA.

In 2006, Dr. Mozdy opened the first medical spa in Erie, Pennsylvania- the Integrative Med-Spa where she is presently the Medical Director and Sole Proprietor. Lauren is a very progressive, innovative doctor specializing in Age Management, Laser & Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr Melissa Dengler, ND

Dr. Dengler is fully trained Naturopathic Doctor. She received her BS in Biology from Gannon University in Erie, PA and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her special areas of interest include Homeopathy, Environmental Medicine & Clinical Nutrition. She also emphasizes Preventive Medicine, herbal and vitamin supplementation, & detox procedures.

Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Dengler returned to her home state of Pennsylvania where she is on staff at the Integrative Med-Spa and has a private practice in Meadville, PA. She also teaches holistic nutrition, massage therapy, and courses in health and wellness for several institutions.

She offers natural health care for the whole family by taking an individualized, holistic approach and spending quality time to get to know her patients. She is committed to supporting the body’s inherent ability to heal itself using natural therapies to restore health and emphasizing the doctor- patient relationship.

One of the unique aspects of our health programs at Integrative Med-Spa is that Dr. Dengler and Dr. Mozdy can work together on cases. Our patients get the benefit of combining holistic Naturopathic Medicine with Traditional Western Medicine.

Julie Saltsman

Julie has been an integral part of the development of the Medical Spa from the beginning in 2006. She is our office manager and holds multiple credentials, including a licensed medical aesthetician, laser certification, & a skin care specialist certified at the Institute Der-Med. Her greatest talents lie in guiding our patients through the process of choosing and scheduling procedures and educating them with compassion and kindness. She is blessed with the ability to make everyone she deals with feel like they are the only thing that matters. She is currently working towards obtaining her RN degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Titusville.

Serene Madara-Rumball

Serene is a Make-up Artist, Medical and Dental Assistant, and experienced Laser Specialist. She has been with us since 2007 and brings with her make-up artistry and sales skills going back 25 years. She excels at post procedure make-up application, developing skin care programs, and making everyone feel comfortable no matter what the procedure . Nothing competes with her ability to work with Dr Mozdy and develop new procedure combinations. She is married and a devoted mother of 2 daughters.

Jessica Owens

Jessie is one of our medical aestheticians and also assists with our marketing efforts. She has 20 plus years experience in the beauty field, and specializes in peels, micro-dermabrasion, La Stone Therapy, spray tanning, and cancer skin care. She is a member of the Physician’s Care Alliance, International Dermal & Esthetics Spa Society, and the International Aesthetics Association.

Que Lasky, RN

The most recent addition to our staff, Que is a RN who assists with procedures and is also a very talented Permanent Make-Up Artist. She runs “Secrets by Que” and can be reached at 814.833.0008 for anyone interested in permanent make-up. Dr Mozdy works with Que to ensure that her clients have a comfortable, safe experience.
