Wrinkle Relaxers
Injection of the wrinkle relaxer Botox Cosmetic is the most
commonly performed, non-surgical, aesthetic procedure done today. It is
simple, safe, minimally invasive and is always administered by a physician
at the Integrative Med-Spa. A few relatively painless, quick, tiny
injections are done in precisely targeted spots after you have been screened
as a good candidate.
Dr. Mozdy has expertise as an anesthesiologist in the use of injections and
muscle blockers, which is why her aesthetic techniques are so advanced.
Botox works by temporarily blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to
your muscles. As a result, Botox smooths out wrinkles caused by excessive
muscle contraction. Dr. Mozdy uses the smallest needles available and uses
other anesthetic techniques if you are needle shy or sensitive. She uses
appropriate doses to give you a natural, not frozen look.
Dr. Mozdy is also experienced in advanced Botox techniques to treat chronic
headaches, facial asymmetries, and lower face and neck wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are easy, minimal downtime procedures that give immediate results. Dr. Mozdy’s signature filler techniques are not just about filling in lines and wrinkles. She uses artful approaches that create beauty and youth by adding symmetry, reintroducing the triangle-shaped youthful face, and replacing volume loss.
Dr. Mozdy is one of the first physicians in the region to be trained in a new injection technique using a blunt-tipped microcannula – only recently approved by the FDA – instead of a sharp needle for dermal filler injections.
She treats the mid-face first, then fills in and supports the lower face and lips for natural-looking rejuvenation. Dr. Mozdy creates a highly individualized treatment plan for every patient, including a careful analysis of where and exactly how much filler will return spark and vitality to your eyes, cheeks, lips, even your hands.
Juvéderm
Juvéderm is hyaluronic-acid based filler that provides a smooth,
long-lasting correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
Juvéderm is the first smooth-consistency gel formulation and the only
hyaluronic acid dermal filler approved by the FDA to last up to one year
from initial treatment. We only use the XC formulation that comes premixed
with the local anesthetic lidocaine for a much more comfortable experience.
This is Dr. Mozdy?s preferred filler for the lips and fine lines.
Radiesse
Radiesse is one of the best fillers to add volume to the face. The results
are immediate. And, because it stimulates your own natural collagen, it
provides an even longer-lasting result.
Dr. Mozdy uses Radiesse Volumizing Filler as her primary filler for her
non-surgical lift by filling the cheeks, nasal folds, downturned mouth
corners, and sagging jowls, although every patient's treatment is highly
individualized.
Dr. Mozdy is very experienced using Radiesse and very pleased with its
results. The Integrative Med-Spa is one of the highest volume providers of
Radiesse in the Tri-State area.
Perlane
Perlane is a long-lasting gel that, once injected into the skin, lifts and diminishes fine lines. Made of hyaluronic acid, it is a completely safe treatment. Perlane simply supplements the body's age-depleted hyaluronic acid to plump-up the lips, raise the skin and 'fill in' the particular wrinkle being treated.
Regenerative Medicine for the Skin
Dr. Mozdy also uses the latest “self-filler” product, Selphyl. It is completely natural because it only uses your own blood serum. It is considered Regenerative Medicine because it stimulates your own body to produce growth factors that revitalize the skin from the inside out.
With this technique, a small amount of your own blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge to isolate platelets and fibrin, and then re-injected where needed to fill in your wrinkles and scars, smooth out your skin, and plump up your lips.
Selphyl works gradually, with visible results noticeable in three weeks, and typically lasting a year or longer. It activates new skin cell growth and, over time, leads to a stronger collagen support structure.

Micro-Needle Roller Therapy
Our FDA-approved medical dermal rollers cause multiple tiny pinpoint puncture wounds to the dermis. This dermal “injury” induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. Because the dermis is left intact, the healing period is very rapid. The pores close again within hours of treatment.
The process facilitates and stimulates the skin’s natural repair without causing permanent epidermal damage and has been shown to stimulate collagen naturally and aid in infusing vitamin creams, serums, and other topical applications which increase their overall effectiveness.
Micro-needle dermal rolling is a new technique Dr. Mozdy uses to reduce wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scarring, large pores and hyperpigmentation.
Dr. Mozdy’s Signature “Liquid-and-Laser” Lift
Because of her experience and training, Dr. Mozdy has developed the “Liquid-and-Laser Lift” which is a nonsurgical facelift that combines fillers, Botox and lasers. Using her well-honed skills, Dr. Mozdy artfully recaptures a youthful and vibrant appearance, without the costs, hospital fees and recovery time involved in an invasive surgical facelift. Lip Fillers

Gone are the “fish lips” techniques of the past. Dr. Mozdy is able to revive your lips in a very smooth, natural-looking way, as well as filling in lip lines and turning up the corners of the mouth. This is another area where she uses the new microcannula technique for less pain and bruising.
Eye Rejuvenation
The sparkle you still feel on the inside should always be able to shine through the “windows to the soul.” Your eyes have the thinnest skin on the body, and therefore give our age away first.
We have many options for eye rejuvenation at the Integrative Med-Spa. We use Botox to soften frown lines and relax crow’s feet, injection lipolysis to dissolve fat pads under eyes, dermal fillers to fill in sunken eyes and temples, and reshape the brow line, Latisse to regrow thinning lashes and eyebrows, and multiple lasers to rejuvenate the skin.
Hand Rejuvenation
